ACID JAM TRAX (Music Album)
This is a release of Acid Jams that started in 2020 and recorded live on audio and video. It features a Behringer TD-3 bassline synthesizer and the RD-6 analog drum machine, modern recreations of the discontinued 80s Roland TB-303 and TR-606, enhanced with updated features that became essential to these jams.
Started as a series of simple jam demo sessions, influenced by the Acid House genre that emerged from underground warehouse parties in Chicago. Instead of mixers and DJ equipment, the first jams took place in a Room during the global COVID-19 pandemic...(Acid Virus).
Drawing from my previous instrumental recording experience and the idea that instruments are the extension of the artist, I explored the capabilities of the then newly released TD-3, eventually adding a second TD-3-MO as a rhythmic bass element and a yellow PO-33 KO! sampler, gradually evolved into a “Yellow Smiley Acid Orchestra"
All the live performance jams of this album are available in videos on my Youtube channel.
